Salary: $72,000 - 112,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or data center environments
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise or Data Center certification
• Practical experience with Cisco Catalyst 3K/4K/9K and Nexus 5K/7K/9K switching platforms
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 technologies, including VLANs, 802.1Q trunking, Spanning Tree, port channels, LACP/PAgP, and VPC
• Strong knowledge of Layer 3 switching, including SVIs, multilayer switching, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, and IP routing fundamentals
• Hands-on fiber optic networking experience, including SFP/SFP+/QSFP+/QSFP28 transceivers, SMF/MMF media, DOM monitoring, OTDR, and optical troubleshooting
• Working familiarity with enterprise firewall connectivity and switch-to-firewall segmentation
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in enterprise networking environments
• Preferred: Experience with VXLAN and BGP EVPN
• Preferred: Familiarity with SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar monitoring tools
• Preferred: Experience with Wireshark and SPAN/RSPAN/ERSPAN
• Preferred: Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM and change management tools
• Preferred: Familiarity with Arista EOS

• Design, configure, deploy, and support Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching infrastructure using Catalyst and Nexus platforms
• Manage switching fabric designs, including leaf-spine and core/distribution/access architectures
• Configure VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, SVIs, routed ports, and multilayer switching
• Deploy and troubleshoot OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP routing protocols
• Implement Spanning Tree, VPC, port channels, and LACP/PAgP configurations
• Support VXLAN/EVPN overlay fabrics in modern data center environments
• Install, validate, and troubleshoot fiber optic transceivers and connectivity across enterprise infrastructure
• Work with security teams on firewall interface connectivity and network segmentation
• Carry out capacity planning, performance monitoring, and documentation, and provide Tier 2/3 escalation support
• Participate in change management, maintenance windows, and an on-call rotation
