We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the successful opening and ongoing operations of a dual-branded Fairfield Inn & TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Waveland, Mississippi.

This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a new hotel from pre-opening through stabilization—building your team, shaping the culture, and delivering outstanding guest experiences from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales
\n
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing opening team
\n
• Drive revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction
\n
• Ensure brand standards and operational excellence across both Marriott flags
\n
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
\n
• Build strong relationships within the local community and market
\n
• Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain top-tier online reputation scores
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Previous General Manager experience in a Marriott or comparable branded hotel required
\n
• Dual-brand experience strongly preferred
\n
• Proven success in hotel openings, turnarounds, or high-performance operations
\n
• Strong financial acumen and revenue management understanding
\n
• Leadership style that builds accountability, engagement, and team culture
\n
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
\n
